Whether it's a poem, poster or post; a classic ode or computer code; the letters, language and symbols we use to communicate can be inspiring, enlightening and revelatory, or they can demean, deflate and feed fear, despair and all that is not the better angels of our nature. 

 

From sharing poetry and writing for purposeful organizations and nonprofits, to creating communication concepts and leading workshops, Armstrong Words is here to employ language in ways that make a powerful and positive difference. Armstrong Words offers:

A short bit about me:  I am a published poet, have taught creative writing and creative thinking at the college level and have an MA in Creative Writing/Poetry from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Also, twenty-five years ago,  I founded and served as Director and Writer for a communications firm that developed purpose-led messages for organizations dedicated to sustainabilitry and social responsibility. The firm was certified as a B-Corp in 2008.
